Accéléromètres mono-axiaux
Un accéléromètre MEMS (uniaxial et multiaxial) est un système micro-électromécanique utilisé pour mesurer l'accélération dans différentes directions. Un accéléromètre MEMS uniaxial mesure l'accélération le long d'un seul axe, tandis qu'un accéléromètre MEMS multiaxial peut mesurer l'accélération le long de plusieurs axes à la fois, comme par exemple dans les trois dimensions x, y et z.
Un accéléromètre MEMS offre une précision, une sensibilité et une fiabilité élevées pour la mesure de l'accélération. Il est utilisé dans une multitude d'applications, comme par exemple dans la technique automobile pour le contrôle de la stabilité, dans l'aérospatiale pour la surveillance des avions, dans la technique médicale pour la détection des mouvements et dans l'électronique grand public pour le contrôle gestuel des appareils.
