It has been specifically developed for use with DATAQ data acquisition systems and provides a user-friendly environment for professional measurement tasks – without requiring any programming.

The software combines powerful recording and playback functions and is ideal for applications in:

How WinDaq software works

WinDaq software works directly with DATAQ data acquisition systems and enables continuous recording and analysis of analog and digital measurement signals.

The software typically consists of two main components:

WinDaq Recording Software
For real-time data acquisition and recording
WinDaq Waveform Browser
For playback, analysis and post-processing of recorded data

During measurement, the data is displayed in real time and simultaneously stored on the hard drive using “disk streaming”. The software supports high sampling rates of up to several hundred kHz, depending on the hardware used.

WinDaq offers numerous analysis functions, including:

How to choose the right WinDaq software version

Choosing the right WinDaq version depends on the hardware used as well as the requirements for measurement speed, number of channels and analysis functions.

WinDaq/Lite
Ideal for simple applications and entry-level systems. Supports lower data rates and basic functions. Included free of charge with many starter kits.

WinDaq/Pro
Suitable for professional applications with high sampling rates and advanced functions. The maximum sampling rate is primarily determined by the hardware.

WinDaq/Pro+
Additionally provides an individual channel sampling rate for each input channel. Ideal for complex multi-channel measurements with signals at different speeds.
