About the MDM491 Differential Pressure Transducer
MDM491 Piezoresistive Differential Pressure sensor is a compact, full-welded (no sealed ring) differential measurement element. Silicon oil is filled inbetween two diaphragms, when the measured differential pressure is added on two diaphragms, the pressure can be transferred onto those through silicon oil. The sensor connects with amplifier circuit through wires, using semi-conductor’s piezoresistive effect, transforming
differential pressure signals into electric signals. The output signal from Weston Bridge on the sensing die has a great linear relationship with differential pressure, so the measured differential pressure can be measured very accurately. The whole product is used for differential pressure measurements of various gases and liquids in pipelines in many fields including petroleum, chemicals industry, power station and hydrology, etc
