About the MPT402 Miniature Pressure and Temperature Transducer

The MPT 4X models are flush-mountable, cost-effective miniature pressure transducers for general use. The sensors are made of corrosion-resistant titanium (Ti6Al4V). They utilise highly reliable semiconductor strain gauges and temperature sensors attached directly to the inner surface of the machined diaphragm. The connection and housing make the sensors precise and resistant to very harsh environments, including aggressive liquids, multiphase fluids and high vibrations.

Teflon coating of the diaphragm is optional. Other coating options (water, hydrocarbon, biofluid repellent, etc.) Pressure range, precision level and long-term stability can be selected according to requirements.

Titanium hermetic heads allow the MPT 4X series to be offered with absolute or sealed reference options. The hermetic head piece is located directly behind the diaphragm section of the sensor's strain and temperature gauge.

Sealing the sensitive probes from an inert environment significantly increases stability and reliability. Long term stability versions and/or extreme accuracy options are available, high vibration options are also available.
