REM/EM - Magnetic incremental encoder
The incremental encoders series REM/EM operate according to the magnetic principle: the rotation of a permanent magnet placed on the encoder shaft generates a sinusoidal magnetic field on 360 degrees. The electronic circuitry provides as output the incremental pulses.
REM encoders offer an excellent resistance to vibrations and shocks, and high protection against environmental agents, characteristics which make them fit for applications in industrial environments with presence of oil or dust, or on plants which must be water/solvent-cleaned.
